Hi I’m Liz — the artist, designer, and creative entrepreneur behind Pearly Creatives. Pearly Creatives Ltd is a recently established business. Established in the Summer of 2026.
For a long stretch, life had me on what we’ll diplomatically call “the scenic route.” It was productive, responsible, and very character‑building .. but, not exactly the creative life I’d imagined. Somewhere along the way, my artistic side ended up filed under “later” and later, kept getting postponed.
Eventually, I realised that if I didn’t reclaim the parts of myself I’d misplaced, I’d end up excellent at paperwork and housework, but terrible at happiness So I returned to the things that have always grounded me: art, design, photography, and the quiet satisfaction of making something beautiful from nothing. One project at a time, I rebuilt my creative spark — and Pearly Creatives grew from there.
Today, I create elegant digital art canvases, writing journals, printables, downloadable planners, wallpapers, and creative digital items designed to bring calm, clarity, and a touch of beauty into everyday life. My style leans toward clean lines, soft colours, modern minimalism, and just enough humour to remind you that I’m a real person.
Pearly Creatives is more than a business; it’s the result of choosing creativity over chaos, doing something I enjoy, rebuilding confidence after a long hiatus, and proving that it’s never too late to start something that feels like home. I blend professionalism with personality, structure with softness, and design with a sense of humour that has survived more plot twists than I care to list.

I have always had an eye for colour and detail since an early age, inherited from my Mum, who was a seamstress and was forever exactly matching the shades, tones and hues of cotton threads to the ones in the fabrics, so that you wouldn’t be able to notice the seams or hems on our dancing costumes. Some lengthy and eyerolling shopping trips were involved! I have always appreciated colour, as many people do, but had never had the time to properly get into digital colours, hexes, and digital design until 2017. I first began my digital art and colours journey, 9 years ago, when I was presented with the dilemma of having to build myself an accounting website. So that’s nine years experience so far, nearly 10, which has gone pretty quickly.
Being creative everyday definitely keeps it interesting, you never know what the end results of your efforts will be at breakfast time, and you will have either disappointed yourself with your efforts or be really surprised and will have surpassed your expectations with some amazing results by dinnertime!
Pearly Creatives is just learning and experimenting with AI technology digital art. At present, I have mixed feelings about AI art. It is improving all the time. Depending on your prompt requests it may give you a brilliant 10/10 result, and at other times, a poor 2/10 result. Pearly Creatives digital designs collectively, are either all human designed by myself, all AI designed, and are designs that are part made with AI ,with elements of a human touch from myself. A good mixture and assortment of styles. The resources I mostly use are listed on the Resources page.
As a mature person, my professional business began in retail sales and catering as a teenager. After leaving school, I worked in multiple industrial businesses. These areas included sales office departments, a factory and purchasing department, in an exports department, in a credit control and accounts office, customer service, office support, and practical hands‑on roles that built a strong foundations in communication, organisation, and problem‑solving. Over the years, I progressed into management accounting, purchasing and costing positions. I became a certified accountant in 2015.
While building my websites, and teaching myself digital design, I’ve also taught myself some marketing and SEO as well.
The amount of experience and knowledge gained over the years has, I feel, shaped my professional approach: reliable, adaptable, and grounded in real‑world business understanding. This foundation now supports my creative work, giving Pearly Creatives a blend of artistic vision and practical, business‑minded structure.

Pearly Creatives Ltd comes from a little family story that always made me smile (the Pearly part), and the Creatives part stems from the creations I will be selling, so I kept both as the heart of my small independent studio. I built this business because I enjoy creating things that help people feel calm, organised, and inspired. Nothing complicated — just gentle, useful designs made at a pace that feels right, visually calming and genuinely helpful in everyday life
